Our Avocado Festival

This year Carpinteria will have the 14th annual Avocado festival.  The Avocado Festival is held on Linden Avenue on the first weekend in October.  They have a coloring contest for kids and there is a place where kids can play games, do crafts, and have fun.

The Avocado Festival has the largest bowl of guacamole!  There is also a avocado recipe contest.  Many food vendors line the street and offer a wide variety of different types of food.

Vendors come to the Avocado Festival to sell their wares and music fills the airs as bands play.  It is a fun time for people of all ages!
