Interview with Mr. Nevens

Lang Nevens

By Skylar P.

I chose Mr. Nevens for my interview because he teaches music at three different elementary schools: Main, Aliso and Summerland, He teaches: the flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, and trombone. He has three big concerts a year: Christmas assembly at each school, all district wide concert at the high School, end of the year concert at each school. He teaches about 100 kids in band in Carpinteria. Mr. Neven's hobby is flying airplanes, you may see him when he is not teaching band, out flying airplanes! He really enjoys it and wanted to learn to do this all his life.
