A: Istanbul Turkey

Q: If you weren't born in the US, when did you arrive here?

A: June, 1997

Q: What are your parent's names?

A: Peter; Waltraud Metzenthin

Q: What countries/states/cities did you grow up in?

A: Istanbul turkey, Ludwigshafen Germany, Heidelberg Germany then Santa Barbara.

Q: What do you remember about the house you lived in?

A: Carpets and glasses and room had red furniture.

Q: What do you remember most about you childhood?

A: Summer at the beach at turkey.

Q: What is your background?

A: Elementary school, gymnasium in Ludwigshafen and university in Heidelberg.

Q: Tell me about your family?

A: I have half a sister named Abla.

Q: What is your family background, personal history (grandparents, great grandparents, relatives) and their roles in the community?

A: They're all German and Swiss.

Q: What previous professions have they had?

A: Dad Economist he worked for a big chemical company in Germany and he's retired.

Q: Are there some other people that have contributed to your success as a community leader? How have they influenced you?

A: Professor at university he's influenced me by being very open minded.

Q: Could you describe your profession to me? What do you do at your job?

A: An art teacher at the Art Museum in Santa Barbara

Q: What is your address and phone of your business?

A: 1130 St. Street.

Q: Describe the activities in which you are currently involved?

A: Painting, drawing and writing articles for an art dictionary.

Q: What path did you take to become a leader?

A: I went to school and the university. I worked in a museum. That's where I learned that I liked talking to a group of people.

Q: What does the term "Civic Leadership" mean to you?

A: To be a civic leader is to set an example for other people.

Q: Could you list and describe the changes or contributions you have made to the community?

A: I teach people art. I bring fun for them and show people to see the world with the eyes of an artist.

Q: How long have you been involved with the community?

A: I have been involved for two years.
