Q: What is your full name?

A: Betty Anne Lieberknecht

Q: Were you named after anyone?

A: My mother, Betty

Q: Where were you born?

A: Los Angeles, CA

Q: What are your parent's names?

A: My mother is Betty and my father Wyatt.

Q: What do you remember about the house you lived in?

A: It was up on a hill, with a big front yard.

Q: What do you remember most about you childhood?

A: Playing with my sister and my friends in the neighborhood.

Q: Tell me about your family?

A: Scotch Irish, German

Q: What is your family background, personal history (grandparents, great grandparents, relatives) and their roles in the community?

A: 50's middle class. Father owned an electrical company. Mom was a homemaker. One younger sister. Dad from Texas, mom from Hollywood. Grandparents Southern-style religion and cooking, farmers. Mom was youngest of 10 children from working class family.

Q: How long have these significant relatives lived here?

A: Most relatives have died. Mom and sister are only living family, both California residents for life. Mom 79 years old, sister 46 years old.

Q: What previous professions have they had?

A: Mom short time work as crossing guard. Sister Susan is a stockbroker. My husband Bob grew up in community and has been involved in many levels, including founding member of California Avocado Festival board.

Q: Could you describe your profession to me? What do you do at your job?

A: I help people market their business. I write and design ads for the Coastal View Magazine.
