Where were you born? I was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Massachusets.

What do you remember about the house you lived in? Every room in our house had a different theme.

What do you remember most about your childhood? I remember school and participating in Girl Scouts.

Are there people who have contributed to your success as a community leader? Anne Smith, the wife of KEYT TV's owner.

Could you describe your profession to me and what you do at your job? I tell people at home about the news that is going on around the world and at home.

Describe the activities in which you are currently involved? I am involved in Reading for the Blind, Elings Park and help out dozens of non-profit organizations.

What path did you take to become a leader? Living life.

What does the term "Civic Leadership" mean to you? Taking part in your community through service.

How long have you been involved with the community in your current position? I have had 22 years of TV experience, with 10 years in Santa Barbara.

Tell me something unusual that has happened to you? I talked to the queen of England about my dogs.

What other jobs have you had? I used to be a modeling teacher at John Robert Powers, and a security guard.
