What do you remember most about your childhood? Brothers, friends, swimming, and the beach.

Tell me about your family?

2 brothers. One is a teacher and the other brother is an actor, stuntman, and a director.

What is your family background, personal history and their roles in the community?

Grandparents were from Germany. They lived on a farm in Missouri.

How long have these significant relatives lived here?

65 years

Could you describe your profession to me? What do you do at your job?

Executive Director - Chamber of Commerce, Business Advocacy.

Describe the activities in which you are currently involved?

Board of Director-Carpinteria Sanitary District, Rotary Club, Boys and Girls Club, Lions Commmunity Park What path did you take to become a leader?

Through my business as a sales manager for 30 years

What does the term "Civic Leadership" mean to you?

Doing things to help ones community. Always thought it was important to give back to your community. It's great to live in this country!

Could you list and describe the changes or contributions you have to made to the community?

Through the Rotary Club, we started the Interact Club at the high school and the Youthact Club at the middle school.

Describe any changes that have taken place since you became a leader?

Many changes as the community grows. Community Awards Banquet and Carpinteria Leadership Program to name a few.

How long have you been involved with the community?

4 Years

Tell me something unusual that has happened to you?

I have my own radio show "Destination Carpinteria", 1250 KEYT with Rosmarie Fannuchi. 11 to 12 am on Sundays.
