Interview with Mrs. Vega

The Salvation Army is important because it helps people who don’t have a lot of money. The Salvation Army is nice to other people that don’t have money. Like last time something cost $15.00 dollars and she gave it away at $8.75. She helps make the clothes, furniture, shoes, toys, books, movies, cd’s, computers, and lots of other stuff.

A: Merced Vega

Q: Where were you born?

A: In Mexico

Q: What are your parent's names?

A: My parents’ names are Soccarro and Loreto

Q: What countries/states/cities did you grow up in?

A: I grew up in the city of Mogotes, Mexico.

Q: What do you remember about the house you lived in?

A: I remember it being a small house.

Q: What do you remember most about you childhood?

A: I remember falling out of a tree onto the ground.

Q: Tell me about your family?

A: My family is not very large.

Q: Could you describe your profession to me? What do you do at your job?

A: I recently got a job working at the Salvation Army. I enjoy it because I feel good helping underprivileged people get the things they need.
