She is very proud to be a member of the City Council when Carpinteria acquired the Bluffs. The Bluffs are a very beautiful part of Carpinteria that was acquired through community donations of over $4,000,000. Another thing she is proud of is the revitalization of the downtown area. Her goals for City Council
are to represent the ordinary people that live in Carpinteria and to try to have the type of community that they want to live in. |

Another organization that Donna Jordan helped start was Carpinteria Beautiful. Carpinteria Beautiful plants trees, paints over graffiti and has clean-up days to keep Carpinteria looking good.
When Donna moved from back east to California she came on a motorcycle. She lived in the Los Angeles area before moving to Carpinteria. Donna would like to be known as a person that really loves her community. The term "Civic Leadership" to Donna Jordan means to find out what the people in Carpinteria want and to help them get it.
