No. My parents just liked the name.

Where were you born?

I was born at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California.

What are the names of your parents?

Ernest and Jennie.

What countries/states/cities did you grow up in?

I have lived all my life in California.

What do you remember about the house you lived in?

The house I lived in was small and had a huge garden. It also had a big field next to it.

My family is from Mexico.

What is your family's background, personal history and their roles in the community?

I have twin girls that are 11 and a 12-year-old son. My great grandparents came from Jalisco, Mexico in 1920, and we have lived in Carpinteria since. My family has been involved in our church community for years.
